Josh Hamilton is a conductor, music educator, and singer from Lexington, Kentucky. He is preparing to begin his 14th year in the classroom and will soon serve as Director of Choirs at Montgomery County High School in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Prior to this appointment, he spent 10 years as Director of Choirs at Rowan County Senior High School and Rowan County Middle School, and 3 years as Choral Director at Tates Creek Middle School. His ensembles have consistently earned Distinguished ratings at KMEA District and State Choral Assessment events.

In addition to his teaching, Mr. Hamilton is active as a choral adjudicator and clinician throughout Kentucky and serves as Director of Music at Providence Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He maintains professional affiliations with the Kentucky Music Educators Association, American Choral Directors Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

He holds the Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music in Choral Conducting degrees from the University of Louisville. He currently serves as State Choral Music Chair-Elect for the Kentucky Music Educators Association. As a tenor, he has performed with numerous professional ensembles, including the Louisville Chamber Choir, the Kentucky Bach Choir, and the Louisville Orchestra.

Mr. Hamilton resides in Winchester with his wife and children.
